Make text bigger on a Samsung phone
Step 1 of 6: Open Display settings
Open Settings and tap Display. If the list looks different, use Settings search to look for Font size. Choose the matching setting rather than an advertisement or download.
✓ Step complete. You can practise it again.
Step 2 of 6: Find the font control
Tap Font size and style. Older phones may use a name such as Font size or Font and screen zoom. Look for the font-size slider and its preview text.
✓ Step complete. You can practise it again.
Step 3 of 6: Increase the size gently
Move the font-size slider a little towards the larger end. Read the preview. Make another small adjustment only if needed, and tap Apply if your version shows that button.
✓ Step complete. You can practise it again.
Step 4 of 6: Check a real screen
Return to Settings or a familiar message. See whether you can read it comfortably and whether lines wrap acceptably. If the result feels too large, return to the same slider and reduce it slightly.
✓ Step complete. You can practise it again.
Step 5 of 6: Consider screen zoom
If buttons and other items still feel small, return to Settings, Display and open Screen zoom. A Galaxy Z Fold may label this Screen layout and zoom. Increase its slider slightly, then check again.
✓ Step complete. You can practise it again.
Step 6 of 6: Keep the useful setting
Open two apps you use often and compare them. Keep the adjustment that helps you read and tap comfortably. Write down the route to the setting so you can change it again later.
✓ Step complete. You can practise it again.
Take your time. Next marks this step done.

Why is a website or picture still hard to read?
Text drawn inside a picture cannot be resized like ordinary app text. Websites and apps can also have their own display controls. Use the app's reading or zoom options when available.
