5 steps · Your own pace
Connect your phone to a TV or hearing device
Step 1 of 5: Choose your goal
Decide whether you want the TV to show a video or your hearing device to receive phone audio. Check the app and device support for that exact function.
✓ Step complete. You can practise it again.
Step 2 of 5: TV route: prepare the network
For an iPhone or iPad with an AirPlay-compatible TV, connect both to the same Wi-Fi. Open a supported video and look for AirPlay, or use Screen Mirroring in Control Centre.
✓ Step complete. You can practise it again.
Step 3 of 5: TV route: select and stop
Select your TV and enter any displayed pairing code on your phone. Android alternative: follow your TV and app’s documented Cast route. Practise stopping casting or mirroring when finished.
✓ Step complete. You can practise it again.
Step 4 of 5: Hearing-device route: pair as instructed
For compatible Made for iPhone devices, enable their pairing mode, then open Settings, Accessibility, Hearing Devices and follow pairing prompts. Android alternative: use the hearing-device manufacturer’s instructions and compatibility list.
✓ Step complete. You can practise it again.
Step 5 of 5: Test the correct output
Play a short clip or make a test call at a comfortable level. Ask your hearing-device supplier for help if connection or audio routing differs from the manual.
✓ Step complete. You can practise it again.

Your small practice task.
Check compatibility and try one short connection test using the relevant route.
Completing the guide records your progress here; it does not check your device settings.
A common question.
Can my phone automatically send TV sound to my hearing aids?
Not universally. TV audio may require a compatible accessory or dedicated streamer. Check the hearing-device manufacturer’s instructions for the exact combination.
